My first sample case for odor control is a proprietor of a pet food store. He owns more than five small dogs of various breeds. He also has pigeons housed in a walk-in bird coop.
The daily cleaning regimen is simple. The cleaner collects dog excreta using a broomstick and dust pan. He transfers the dog poop in a plastic bag which is sealed tightly. After this, he splashes water onto the cages and floors while using the broomstick to clean out remaining wastes. Finally, the floors and cages are left to dry.
For the pigeons, pans lined with old newspapers were installed at the bottom of the bird coop to facilitate the weekly collection of manure. Once manure is collected and disposed, he washes the pans with water. The pan is sun-dried and lined with old newspapers before being returned to the bird coop.
I gave the proprietor a bottle (1Liter) of biolant bm concentrate. Following the instructions on the label, he added biolant bm concentrate to his cleaning water. After two weeks of continous use, the proprietor noticed that foul odors were greatly reduced especially in the bird coop.
By February, biolant bm concentrate will be available for sale in his store.
